The mathematics of climate change

Customer: IMAGINARY gGmbH
Weather forecasts are notoriously difficult, in no small part because of how complex the mathematical models behind them are. I created this workshop to explain some importante characteristics of such forecasting models. Participants become part of a 'living computer' that makes weather predictions, learn about Box Models, and try to solve the difficult problem of dividing a sphere in regions of equal size.

Proyecto Semillero

As part of my residence at the Fresh Ventures Studio I focused on the problen of desertification in southern Spain and concieved Semillero as an answer. Based on supporting individuals and collectives, the project attempted to bridge a need for better organizational structures. Semillero has entered an indefinite pause but might continue in the future.

The global consequences of food waste

Customer: Bildung trifft Entwicklung (BtE), EPIZ
I designed this workshop on Global Citizen Education based on my own experience with 'rescuing' food. It connects the production of food in the global south with consumption and food waste in the global north, binding them together through its colonial history. Participants learn how their daily decisions can have an impact ecosystems far away, and what they could do about it.

revoluSUN wants to make energy communities a reality in Germany. They asked for my support to better understand their target audience, conceptualize their platform, and setup work processes.

Land: A game about the rules of ownership, fairness ... and cows

Land is a game and activity designed to discuss the concepts of property and fairness. It is played by three players plus a facilitator. The game can be easily copied and reproduced: you only need pen, paper and a dice.
